Meet Chris, The Snowboarder
California is one of those rare places where you can do both, spend time at the beach and snowboard in the mountains on the same day.
A one hour drive takes us from from Los Angeles at the Pacific Coast, into the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where we meet Chris at Big Bear.
Big Bear Lake is a man made lake in the San Bernardino Mountains.
The surrounding mountains reach well above 8.000 feet. Chris is a college student from San Diego, who works part time at a board shop repairing snowboards.
